What we do to help promote your custom Business Workwear or Promotional Clothing

Embroidery

The most professional way to present your business, embroidery designs are stitched in our factory using our state of the art automated multi-headed embroidery machines depending on the size of the order. We take your company logo, design , text or art work and firstly convert it to a digitised design with our sophisticated Embroidery Software. This enables us to apply many techniques to obtain different directions of embroidery stitch that work as the texture to your embroidery design making it really stand out. Our in-house Embroidery service works best on polo shirts, t-shirts, hoodies, school uniform, sports kits, corporate clothing, commercial and promotional embroidery.

We provide a proof for each design showing the position on the clothing for approval prior to production.

Screen Printing

The original and still the best method of printing complex designs for medium to large runs on clothing such as t-shirts, polos and hoodies. Our designer will set up the design and separate the colours of the image as they are printed separately using a screen. This screen has a very fine mesh in which the ink is forced though and each colour requires its own dedicated screen. Once all the colours have been layered down and passed through our dryer to cure the ink you have your finished design.

This is the heart of what we do at Custom Threads. Our six colour process capabilities give you lifelike images that virtually jump off the Tee-shirts, hoodies or polo-shirts and with our huge choice of clothing you are sure to find that right item for virtually any situation.

Single Spot Colour and Full Colour Digital Transfer Printing

Transfer Printing is great for single colour designs, individual names, and sports numbers. This process is called spot colour and the design is cut out from a roll of transfer vinyl using a specialist machine which is then placed over the garment and heat sealed onto it using what can only be described as an oversized iron!

We would recommend transfer printing for names and numbers on football kits and short runs on a budget such as stag and hen shirts requiring individual names.

We can also print full colour images on vinyl for more specialist projects that require more detailed designs but only require short runs.

Designs

To get a high quality print we need to be provided with high quality artwork. To get the best possible result we prefer artwork at 300 DPI at the actual size of the print or even better in a vectorised format which enables us to scale the design to any size without losing quality. This enables us to separate the colours for screen printing and to ensure all the lines in the design stay sharp and crisp when printed.

If you don't have your artwork in a vectorised format and need it to be redrawn, we do offer a service to redraw your artwork for a small design fee, please contact us for more information.
What ever you requirement if you need any advice or help with choosing the right clothing or need to discuss your logo or design we are on hand to answer your questions. Please call us on 01256 841020 or email us using our Contact Us page.
